Fabio has a Ph.D. in aeronautical engineering and he has been dealing with rotorcraft aeromechanics for over 10 years, in different contexts (academia, small and big companies) and on different types of vehicles (small multirotor UAV, manned helicopter, tiltrotor).
He has spent about half of his career in the academic research at Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of Politecnico di Milano, achieving the Ph.D. in the same faculty in the 2015 and then employed as a post-doctoral research fellow and teaching assistant.
From 2017 to 2019 he worked at Kopter Group AG as rotor dynamics & aeroelasticity analysis engineer in the flight physics department, on the development and certification of SH09-P3 prototype.
In the late 2019 he joined Line Up Aviation s.r.l. as project engineer, working as senior consultant for the flight mechanics department of Leonardo Helicopters. He is principally involved in the Next Generation Civil TiltRotor Technology Demonstrator research program (within EU Clean Sky 2).
In his spare time he enjoys walking in the nature with his dogs and building Lego. He regularly practices cross training, running and trekking.
